Tekom kratkega rezidenčnega bivanju sta na fasado Galerije K18 namestila prepoznavno Stojčićevo umetniško delo »Iščem osebo« in posnela podcast epizodo »To so same čarovnice« s Svetlano Slapšak.

Poseg v javni prostor izraža nujnost komunikacijske funkcije umetnosti same in osnovno značilnost civilne, demokratične družbe.
Oglas postavljen v različnih kontekstih preizprašuje meje in omejitve pogovorov skozi preizpraševanje različnih družbenih predstav in dojemanj.

Seeking for a Person
An oversized ad covering the facade of the Gallery K18 is one of the latest displays of Bojan Stojčić’s ongoing performance and installation »Seeking for a Person«. The ad reads »Young man (33) from Sarajevo,BiH, seeks a person to discuss art with«, in Slovene and English language, with Bojan’s personal phone number attached to it. The Gallery is only one of the places where this ad appeared: over time, Stojčić have been posting it in the ad sections of various daily newspapers or specialised ad papers throughout the region, as well as in the exhibiting spaces in Bosnia, Serbia and France. Most notable was displayed in the National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. This intervention in public space conveys the basic communicative function of art itself, as well as one of the basic characteristics of a civic, democratic society. With this ad, in addition, the artist positions himself as a citizen, an artist, and a human within an environment in which such categories are frequently met with misunderstanding, rejection or reduction. The ad subverts and questions the possible (non)existence of those categories in our nearest surroundings.
Reduced to the form of an ad, this work does not necessarily immediately communicate its artistic intention to the public, opening it to everybody – even those people who are less likely to respond to the artistic event. The materials gathered after the ad has been placed become parts of the documentation – each conversation, call, each message, social and traditional media reactions, each lack of any reaction at all. The topics discussed or avoided in calls and reactions become a transcript of characteristics, longings, ideologies, wishes, fears, prejudice, traumas as well as the language and slang permeating a community or the intimacy of its members. Set in different contexts, the ad questions the borders, confinements of conversations, thus questioning different social imaginaries. In the context of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the countries surrounding it, this ad acquires one more intimate-political dimension bound by the axes of loneliness, lack of information, pain, as well as, frequently, longing for the Other.

Živi v Sarajevu, kjer vodi umetniški atelje, poučuje in svetuje. Je kreativni producent »To so same čarovnice« in član feminističnega kolektiva »Zveza za kulturo in umetnost CRVENA«.

To so same čarovnice
Poleg tega so Čarovnice družbeni podvig - ponujajo zagovorništvo, komunikacijsko svetovanje in storitve upravljanja projektov, ki jih uporabljajo v poskusu ustvarjanja samovzdržne platforme. Podcast Vse to so čarovnice obravnava revolucionarni vsakdan postjugoslovanskega intelektualnega prostora.
